Women and industry: two Aluminium Dunkerque employees honoured

March is International Women’s Rights Day. To mark the occasion, La Voix du Nord published portraits of women working in industry in its supplement ‘Demain Dunkerque’. At Aluminium Dunkerque, Léa Caty, Maintenance Pilot, took part in the game.

In front of the camera, Léa demonstrated that women have their place in the industry of tomorrow and that they are already successful in today’s industry. You can read and watch her profile in the supplement to the 27 March edition. (link here)

At the same time, the newspaper has produced another supplement devoted to women, published in all the editions of the Hauts de France region (over 1 million readers). Aluminium Dunkerque is represented in the supplement by Laëtitia Pudys, Supply Chain, Purchasing and Information Systems Director and member of the Executive Committee, who outlined her career as a woman in industry, including her various positions at Aluminium Dunkerque. She emphasised that our company is an industrial environment that gives women their rightful place at all levels, enables them to develop and invests in its ecosystems to contribute to the feminisation of industrial professions (partnerships with Elles bougent / Industri’elles).
