Dylan and Morgan
Robache

Dylan and Morgan Robache are brothers and both work at Aluminium Dunkerque. Their story began in 2021, when the two brothers were recruited by the company as apprentices in the carbon sector. In terms of their training, they were also in the same class for their vocational BAC in quality production line management, which they completed with the AFPI Région Dunkerquoise. After graduating with first-class honours, their efforts have paid off: Morgan and Dylan have signed permanent contracts with Aluminium Dunkerque.

“It’s a real achievement to see yourself progressing professionally with your brother, and what’s more in the same company. After two years of work experience, we were taken on at the same time and we’re very proud of each other!”

Ophélie Ibanez

After two years’ work-linked training with the AFPI Région Dunkerquoise, Ophélie was taken on 2 years ago as a production operator in the capture sector.

“I chose Aluminium Dunkerque because of the opportunities for career development and the good working conditions. On a day-to-day basis, I work independently, so there’s always room for improvement. It’s clear that the good atmosphere in the team is also a plus!

Philippe
Souvannarath

After obtaining the French equivalent of the Bac Scientifique in Brussels, Philippe spent over a year living in Laos to discover his origins there. Back in France in 2004, Philippe joined Toyota Onnaing as an assembly line operator for the famous Yaris, and was quickly promoted to Team Leader Production, a position he held until 2007. Philippe then set up his own textile manufacturing business in Roubaix-Tourcoing. In 2012, the economic situation forced him to close the business, and Philippe took up the post of Team Leader Production at Schaeffler Calais until 2019. In the meantime, he embarked on a VAE (vocational training qualification) that enabled him to obtain his BTS (vocational training certificate) in engineering technical assistance, and in 2020 he was recruited by Aluminium Dunkerque as an electrolysis pilot.

To the question ‘Why did you choose this job’, Philippe replies “It was the job that chose me, Aluminium Dunkerque trusted me as a manager and saw in me a managerial potential that proved to myself that I was cut out for it. Human relations, the desire to support and develop my team and to see each member of it fulfilled professionally are my greatest rewards. For me, it’s more than a job, it’s a vocation that supports my convictions. I believe in the importance of the role I play in the company. In any case, I’m doing my best to make my contribution.
