Aluminium Dunkerque has given the Calais-based association R3D2 a set of computer equipment that will introduce young people to careers in computing, electronics and design.

On 15 May, Aluminium Dunkerque and EDF signed a memorandum of understanding setting out the principles of a 10-year electricity supply contract. The contract is part of EDF’s commercial policy to support industrial companies over the long term.

For several months, three engineering students from ICAM will be carrying out advanced thermal studies and exploring practical solutions to optimise the energy consumption of our equipment, with the help of our teams. The aim is to reduce gas consumption and CO2 emissions.
